In our final report of this year’s Long View series, we analyse expected market returns over the next ten years
This report is the final part of our four-part research project on the building blocks of long-term returns for different asset classes. In this report we derive the expected returns for a wide range of traditional and alternative investments for the next ten years:
- We show that fixed income investments are very unattractive with few exceptions in the alternative credit space.
- Equity market returns are expected to be below historical averages, but given higher dispersion between countries and regions, there are still good opportunities to be found.
- The best investment opportunities, in our view, can be found in alternative investments.
