- Emerging market debt and equity investments have seen negative returns year-to-date. Yet, investors seem reluctant to throw in the towel. Given that we do not see signs of a trend reversal, we expect sentiment to worsen in emerging markets in the near term.
- US and UK property, on the other hand, is staging a recovery that has not been noticed by the wider investment audience. We think that these asset classes can provide attractive opportunities in coming months.
