Michael is the General Manager, Distribution and Marketing - Retirement and Investments at Challenger Limited in Australia. He is responsible for the distribution and marketing of Challenger’s retirement and investments business including Fidante and its affiliates. Michael leads the distribution and marketing strategy across intermediated, high net worth, and listed channels. Michael joined Challenger in August 2012 bringing over 20 years of experience in financial services in various distribution roles.

Prior to joining Challenger, Michael was National Sales Manager at ANZ Wealth, responsible for leading the distribution of wholesale managed funds into internal and external distribution channels of the bank. Michael also was a Senior Sales Executive at Macquarie Bank responsible for distributing derivative and investment solutions to high net worth clients and began his career at the Australian Stock Exchange (ASX) promoting Listed Managed Investments including LITs/LICs, ETFs, A-REITs and Infrastructure Funds.    

Michael has a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Sydney and post graduate studies from FINSIA with a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment
